Forty-six members of Carrick-on-Suir Active Retirement Club enjoyed a week long holiday in the Gleneagles Hotel in Killarney last week.

The Club’s fortnightly meetings have finished for the summer and will resume in early September.

There was an enjoyable party atmosphere at the Club’s last meeting before the summer break at the Nano Nagle Community Resource Centre in Carrick-on-Suir last Thursday.

Meanwhile, some Retirement Club members travelled to the Martin’s Home for the Elderly in Portlaw where they received a warm welcome along with refreshments that were followed by music and dancing.

Entertainment was provided at the party by Kevin Nolan, Gerry Walsh, Billy Byrne, Sean O’Brien and others.
