FASION SHOW

FASION SHOW

The recent Fashion Show held in Burncourt Community Hall was a huge success. The hall was transformed into a Fashion arena that had a real ‘wow’ factor. All the local models, young and not so young, treaded the catwalk with an unbelievable confidence. Alison Hyland from Tipp FM kept the capacity audience well informed of all the styles and suppliers. A big thank you to Alison for volunteering to be MC on the night. The cheese and wine reception and the musical ensemble in the marquee also contributed to the buzz. The professionalism of the show would not have been possible without the incredible work that went on behind the scenes for weeks beforehand. Much credit must go to the main organisers Richard, Siobhan and Mairead and to all who helped at the various stages. Our thanks also to Maureen Creed who excelled as ticket agent. Our appreciation also to the beauticians and the hairdressers and to the back room crew who kept the show running so smoothly. The generosity of the sponsors and all who donated raffle prizes also has to be acknowledged. The DVD of the Fashion Show will be available this weekend. All in all a great community effort.
