WATER TOWER BUCKET BOYS ON TOUR
The name may sound zany but this is a show not to be missed. South Tipperary Rural Arts Group presents this legendary Bluegrass Band from Portland, Oregon, U.S. A. in St. Paul’s Community Centre, Clogheen on Saturday, September 10, at 8pm. The Water Tower Bucket Boys will tour the U.K. and Ireland from August 25, with seven of their 25 dates in Ireland. Some people may recall the group’s last visit to the area when they entertained an appreciative audience at Pat Russell’s shop in Ballyporeen. Having released four albums to date they are sure to attract an audience with their unique style, drawing from classic bluegrass with a mix of traditional and original songs. Tickets will be on sale locally from August 25 and are priced at €10. Enquiries to 087/6967661. See you all there.
