Credit Union supports Clogheen Hospital fundraising

St Theresa’s Hospital in Clogheen has been the beneficiary of a significant donation from Cahir Credit Union.

St Theresa’s Hospital in Clogheen has been the beneficiary of a significant donation from Cahir Credit Union.

The donation, of E1,500 will go towards the purchase of equipment for the hospital.

Cahir Credit Union as part of their ongoing commitment to the community were pleased to make a contribution to the Friends of Clogheen Hospital to help in their ongoing fundraising for Water Mattresses and other essential equipment for the hospital in Clogheen.

On Friday, August 19, Mr Jim Haide, Treasurer of Cahir Credit Union, accompanied by Chairperson Karen Murpy, Secretary Carmel Fennessy and Manager Denis Hartnett presented Sr. Aine, of Clogheen hospital a cheque for €1,500 .

Clogheen Hospital holds a very important place in the hearts of Clogheen, Cahir and the surrounding areas. Many families have experienced the care and treatment for their loved ones given by this Community Hospital over the years and it continues to play a vital role in the health care to all the surrounding communities.

Cahir Credit Union are also pleased to announce the launch of a new, dedicated Cahir Credit Union Website. The new website will provide information on the many services available at Cahir Credit Union. Members will now also be able to look up their accounts online from the comfort of their own home. They can see their account transactions, loans issued. Members will do so with a secure PIN number which can be obtained by registering on the website or by calling to the offices of Cahir Credit Union, St. Mary’s Rd. Cahir. The Website can be viewed by logging on at www.cahircreditunion.ie

This is the first step in the introduction of new services to members. A new Laser Card Debit system will be introduced in the next few weeks which will allow members to pay into their accounts by using the terminals in the office or by phone from their home or elsewhere.
