On Sunday last our u 12’s took part in their first Go Game against a strong Cahir Team. This was a great sporting game between two teams who were evenly matches. In the end it was the Brian Borus girls who won the games on a scoreline 2-0 to 1-0. COLAISTE DUN IASCAIGH - BUDDING BANK SUCCESS Congratulations to all involved in Colaiste Dun Iascaigh Budding Bank, they won best newcomer at the regional finals. They received their prize at the South Court Hotel, Limerick recently.

Our first county junior hurling league game that was fixed for St. Patrick’s Day against Cahir was called off at the last minute,
We are now due to play Thurles Sarsfields in Ballylooby on Sunday 25th at 3 30pm.
On the same day Sunday, March 25, we are due to play our first game in the minor C Football south championship against Fr Sheehy’s in Ballyporeen at 12pm.
Our under 12s footballers played Moyle Rovers recently and after a great game we lost on a scoreline of Ballylooby/Castlegrace 5-2 Moyle Rvs 5-5.
Our under 16 footballers faired much better when they took on Killenaule on Sat 10th March and won their first game of the year with a score of Kilenaule 0-12 Ballylooby/Castlegrace 3-13. Well done to all our players during the week keep up the good work. Club membership is now due and can be paid to any committee member. DAFFODIL DAY Thanks to everybody who helped and supported the recent Coffee Morning for Daffodil Day that was held in Duhill Hall on Friday 16th last, it was much appreciated!.
The death occurred of William (Willie) Keating late of Tubrid. We extend our sympathy to his wife Kitty, sons, Stephen, Liam. P.J. and Brendan, daughters Catherina, Mairead, Mary and Carmel, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren extended family, relatives and friends. Willie was laid to rest in Duhill Cemetery after his requiem mass on Thursday 15th March. Sympathy is extended to Gretta Lonergan and family on the death of her grandson Oisin Gott late of Cashel and son of Lynn who passed away recently. We extend our sympathy to the family and relatives of Theresa Murphy late of Nedeens Bar, Clogheen.

This is a free, confidential and friendly listening service for the older and vulnerable people of South Tipperary and West Waterford carried out by trained volunteers and works in association with the local community alert.
