NEW FLOOR IN BURNCOURT COMMUNITY HALL
Burncourt Community Hall is open for all groups following the replacement of the floor. All who have seen the new floor are loud in their praise of the improvement it has made to the hall and with regard to the workmanship involved. A request that any outstanding sponsorship cards for the recent sponsored walk in aid of the hall renovations be returned as soon as possible. The Community Council would like to thank all who have responded so generously to date.
PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP
The newly formed Burncourt Parent and Toddler Group had its first gathering last Wednesday morning. It was well supported and the group will meet again on this Wednesday morning and following Wednesday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm. All new members are welcome. The Group would like to acknowledge the generosity of the community in supporting them and appreciate the generous donations of mats and toys received. Looking forward to seeing you all there. TABLE QUIZ FR SHEEHY’S GAA
Fr. Sheehys GAA Club will hold a table quiz in Butler’s Bar, Burncourt, on this Friday night, March 23, at 9.30pm. Your support for your local club would be much appreciated. Tables of four E40. There will also be a raffle for two Easter Hampers and other prizes on the night.

The local school children have been busily practising under the leadership of Wil Nugent and will take to the stage in Burncourt Community Hall on Friday, March 30. There will also be some entertainment provided by the popular local adult Drama Group. This promises to be a good night’s entertainment being hosted by the Parents’ Association to raise funds for Burncourt National School.
SOUTH TIPPERARY RURAL ARTS GROUP
South Tipperary Rural Arts Group will hold its AGM on Wednesday, March 28, at 8pm in Burncourt Community Hall. The overall aim of the group is to bring quality artistic and cultural events to the local communities. These include Ardfinnan, Ballyporeen, Burncourt, Ballylooby and Clogheen. Anyone with an interest in promoting music, song , dance ,art or any type of cultural activities are most welcome to come along to share their views and hopefully become involved in the group.
South Tipperary Rural Arts Group will host a concert on Wednesday, April 18, in Burncourt Community Hall as part of the Inspiring Art Community Tour 2012 featuring the renowned traditional musicians Seamus Begley and Tim Edey. This promises to be a wonderful night’s entertainment, further details next week.
