Well done to Eoin Ryan, Adrian Walsh and Colm Sweeney who were on the Tipperary Junior Football that lost out narrowly to Kerry on Saturday evening. The final date for payment of membership is June 1- if players have not paid their subscription by this date they will not be eligible for selection. All juniors taking coaching must be Club members and pay coaching fees up front. KILSHEELAN TIDY TOWNS

A Trojan amount of work has been done so far this year by a few unselfish people who care about our environment. The village is looking clean and neat and next week when the beds are planted it will be blooming lovely. But there is a serious issue - due to illness the number of regular volunteers is sadly depleted. Tidy Towns really need more help, especially from the younger men in the village. Everybody’s time is precious but an hour a week is not too much to ask for your community. We are asking parents to please encourage teenagers to come out and help on work evenings, especially for the next two weeks - Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6.30pm, meet in the car park. Tidy towns judging will take from June 1. A big thanks to all the grass cutters, litter pickers, weeders, sweepers and every one who does so much to keep the village clean. The next meeting is Wednesday, June 6, at 8.30pm.
