The Eire Og Camogie girls produced a late rally of 1-02 in the final 5 minutes that effectively sealed victory against Moycarkey played out in the Ragg on Friday night last. A late foray of scores from Sheelagh Carew, Ciannait Walsh and Siobhan O’ Neill paved the way for victory.

Team: Sarah O’Neill, Aisling Loughman, Kelly Aherne, Emma Kelly, Mary O’Dwyer, Tina Roche, Orlagh Walsh, Siobhan O’Neill (Capt), Catriona Fitzgerald, Ciannait Walsh, Leanne Hayes, Ena Meagher, Sheelagh Carew, Shauna Quirke, Aoife Ryan. Subs: Emma Richardson, Katie Aherne, Maria McHugh and Michelle Caplis.

Results:

Well done to the Eire Og under 12 Footballers on winning the Plate final last Wednesday, defeating Emly in the process.

Under 14 Footballers were defeated by Cappawhite in the semi-final last Monday.

Fixtures:

Senior Football: County Championship v Kilsheelan\Kilcash this Friday, June 1, in New Inn at 8.30pm.

Junior Hurling: v Solohead this Sunday, June 3, in Bansha at 1pm.

INTER-COUNTY:

Well done to Tipperary Intermediate and Senior Hurlers on their victories last weekend. Eire Og were represented by Conor O’Brien (Senior) and Padraig O’Dwyer (Intermediate). Commiserations to Tipperary Senior and Junior Footballers on their defeats to Kerry. Eire Og were represented by Brian Fox and Richard Ryan (Senior) and Damien O’Brien (Junior).

Well done to Katelyn Fleming on lining out with the Tipperary Primary Schools girls team last Sunday.
