Congratulations to Brendan Cummins who claimed his sixth senior All Ireland Poc Fada competition on the Annaverna Mountain in Louth last Saturday. He completed the course in 39 pocs. There was double success for Cummins who won the pairs competition along with Antrim’s Kevin McKernan. Well done!

GOATENBRIDGE/BALLYBACON DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION

A meeting of Goatenbridge/Ballybacon Development Association will be held in the GAA Club Room in Goatenbridge on Wednesday, August 15, at 8.30pm. Cahir Area County Councillors and a representative from the South Tipperary County Council have been invited to attend. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

AUTUMN 2012 COURSE

A course entitled “Living well with Arthritis to help you enjoy the everyday” will take place in Cahir in the Duneske Centre for six weekly sessions which start on Thursday, September 6, from 7.30pm to 10pm. Contact 01 647 0206 for further details.
