Well done to the Cloneen /Mullinahone riders taking part in the Championships in Grove - Holly Williamson who finished 6th in the open 1star class with Whistlewood Wachtermeister, a dutch warmblood. Monty, as he is affectionately known, was only last year rescued by Holly and on each outing he is progressing step by step as well as rapidly gaining his own fan club. The Marston Man (Freddy), an ex racehorse, has taken to eventing like a duck to water ridden by Tessa Gunn in the Intermediate class, they finished third.

These are two lovely horses and both ladies should be proud of their achievements. Both now qualify for the all Ireland which is to take place in Carlow in September. Some great displays of riding by both these ladies on two lovely horses... Olympics 2016 maybe....
