Year of Faith: Talks
One of the recommendations of the Year of Faith is that we study the Cathechism of the Church. Fr. Bart, S.V.D., Ss Peter and Paul’s, in association with the Legion of Mary and Pastoral Council, has undertaken to do a series of talks on the Faith and based on the Cathechism. The date and venue are to be decided. We would like to know who might be interested in attending such a series of talks.
Another project for the Year of Faith is a course of Facilitating Prayer/Lectio Divina. This initiative is being organised by the Presentation Sisters. Again we would like to know what interest there might be in such an exercise.
A book is at the back of the Church to facilitate your interest in both or one of these exercises.
Our monthly family Mass (Mass with a difference) will take place this coming Sunday, 21st at 5pm. If you have drifted away from the Church and would like to make a fresh start this Mass may be an opportunity for you to reconnect with the faith community (Parish) of St. Mary’s. Hopefully this Year of Faith will be your opportunity to participate in the Gathering, Welcome home initiative. This liturgy is organised and planned by our teenage liturgy group and is always uplifting, cheerful, thematic and enriching- hence the name “Mass with a differenceâ€
