Cahir Tidy Towns has teamed up with WEEE Ireland for a public collection day of electronic items and waste batteries that will take place in the town on Saturday, October 27, from 10am to 4pm in the Castle Car Park.

WEEE Ireland organises, manages and promotes public collection events of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and also waste batteries. The purpose of these collection events is to facilitate the collection of WEEE and waste batteries from areas which don’t have convenient access to civic amenity sites, as well as raise awareness of free electrical and battery recycling in the local community.

WEEE Ireland is permitted to collect from most counties in Ireland.
