2013 started for the club with the AGM. Chairperson, Seamus Morrissey thanked all for their commitment and support during the year. A special thank you to outgoing officers and trainers, Joan Maguire, Trisha Healy Lucy Keeley, Maura Flynn and Seanie Peters who contributed so much time and effort to the club.

The football year has kicked off with U16 girls on Saturday last, March 2, on Cappa’s home ground. Victory was not to be theirs when the Cappawhite team came out victors with a score line of Galtee Rovers St Pecaun’s 3-5 Cappawhite 2-9. They play Templemore next weekend.

U12s have commenced training on Saturday mornings at 10am under a new management team of Catherine Hogan and Louise Murphy. The club with hold a table quiz in the Lady Gregory pub on Friday, March 15, at 9pm. Table of four €20.

WHEELCHAIR ASSOCIATION

Thank you to all who contributed to the recent collection for the Irish Wheelchair Association, €569.60 was donated.
