BRAIN BORUS CAMOGIE

Our U14s girls bowed out of their camogie championship at the quarter final stage in a thrilling game played last Tuesday night in Ballylooby against Ballingarry. There were some tremendous blocks and hooks by our heroic backs of Norma Kennedy, Caomihe Reidy, Michelle O’Halloran, Laura Morrissey and Linda Murphy and some fantastic saves by our goalkeeper Makaela Rossittor, while midfield Fiona Burke and Ciara Hickey kept their eye on the ball at all times and ran the length of the pitch sending some great balls into our forwards Shona Lange, Jane Hyland, Caoimhe Ryan and Helena Walsh. Subs: Zoe Lynch, Andre Conway, Roisin Murray and Shannon Brennan. Great credit is due to all these girls who played with great pride. Well done to Liam and John who trained the girls and encouraged them from start to finish.
