SKEHEENARINKY FLOWER SHOW AGM

SKEHEENARINKY FLOWER SHOW AGM

The annual general meeting of the Skeheenarinky Flower and Garden Club will be held at 8pm on Friday, May 17, at the school. It was unfortunate that the weather caused a cancellation of the show last year but this year it is hoped to be back with renewed vigour. All present members are asked to attend and anyone who would like to be involved in the Flower and Garden Club is very welcome. Get involved in the Flower Show or simply enjoy the occasional talks and garden visits.

ANNUAL GALTYMORE WALK

The Fermoy (Local Branch) MS 36th Annual Galtymore Walk will take place this year on Fathers’ Day, June 16. This walk is the main fundraiser for the local branch each year and local support on the day will be much appreciated. This is always a fun family day and the organisers advise that walkers should wear sensible footwear and clothing. Refreshments provided afterwards. Start from top of Black Road around 12noon although people go on the walk all day. You can donate on the day or why not fill a sponsorship card available from Eleanor 0862493252.
