We hope to paint the inside of the Community Centre during the summer, so we are asking all local painters who are interested in the job to quote. Contact Helen Nugent (7466923) to arrange a viewing of the hall and the work that needs doing.
A large amount of household rubbish was found dumped half way down Lady’s Abbey. Identification was found among the rubbish and prosecution will be sought. We all are feeling the pinch at the moment trying to pay for our essential services but there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of behaviour, there are many ways to firstly reduce your amount of waste i.e. there was a large amount of cans among the rubbish, a simple trip to the local national school with your cans would solve that, household waste i.e. potatoes peelings and food waste, get a composter after the initial pay out it’s free. A large amount of paper and cardboard, again to have a dry recycle bag picked every second week is about E3, so there is no excuse.
Tractor Run next Sunday, May 19. Come along as there will be lots of fun for all the family.
