LAGGANSTOWN SCHOOL REUNION FUNDRAISER

The organising committee would like to thank the publicans, sponsors and all those who supported the recent Joint Pub Quiz. The overall winner on the night was “The Rovers Inn” and its team Tom Shine, David Lonergan, Lee O’Connor and Jed Longsworth. In Barron’s the winning team was Eileen Bell, Desmond Bell, Raelleen Bell and Shari-Anne O’Donnell. In Ollie’s the winning team was Rupert Butler, Eamon Walsh, Cormac English and John O’Dwyer. This was a very successful and worthwhile fundraiser with over 25 tables participating and many more gave donations but could not make it on the night. Great credit is due to all involved, especially MC’s Karl McHugh, Conor English and Tom Fitzgerald, checkers Dave Morris, Alice Barron and Sandra English. Finally to the Fahey brothers, Tom and Frank, a big thank you for making out the questions and to the hard working committee themselves. The School Reunion is taking place on the weekend August 2-4.
