“The continuous sound” of barking dogs in areas to the west of Clonmel, including Loughtally and Marlfield, is a source of annoyance to a resident of the area.
“This form of noise pollution has interrupted the peace and quiet of some of the citizens of the area and it must stop”, the resident stated when he contacted The Nationalist.
The resident, who doesn’t wish to be named, says that the problem wouldn’t be so out of proportion if the dogs were trained when they were young.
“The situation seems to be getting worse day and night and we have come to the end of our tether.
It’s an outright shocking situation that’s gone out of control”, he added.
