Ulster Bank Div 2A League Cashel 26 – Banbridge 13. Cashel continued their unbeaten run with a home win over northern side Banbridge. Next up is Naas, away on Saturday at 2.30pm.

U18 Cashel 36 – Thurles 13. Well done to our new player Joe Hennessy playing against his old club. Get well soon to Keith who despite going to hospital in ambulance was discharged and recovering well at home!

U11 Cashel v Garryowen. Over 35 Garryowen U11s arrived in Cashel for a training session followed by a match against Cashel U11s. Our lads faced three Garryowen sides. Having won the first two matches our legs gave out in the third and we lost. The Cashel U11 coaches were very proud of their team.

Creative Writing Course
The focus is on developing elements of story, voice, character, plot, dramatic tension, themes and resolution. The classes will aim to accommodate writers at whatever stage of development they have reached and to create a sharing atmosphere that fosters constructive criticism and feedback. English Conversation Circle

Positive Parenting

Programme runs every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm. Parents share their own skills and ideas about parenting, as well as learning tried and tested methods in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Contact Deirdre O’Connor. Clothes Collection

A clothes collection in aid of St John the Baptist Girls School takes place next week. They are collecting new and used clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, household textiles, stuffed toys, in any condition once they are clean, also mobile phones and books. Items can be dropped off at the school hall from 9am to 5pm Monday, October 7, to Friday, October 11 and on Saturday, October 12, 12noon to 3pm.
