Results: Our B Team played on Sunday at the complex against Clonmel Town B with a winning score of 6.1 with goals coming from Pa Quinn (hat trick), Michael Buckley, Elliott Thompson and Daniel Fowler. This was a great home win and well done.

Our youth team were to play last Saturday against Moyglass in FAI Preliminary Round but this game was called off.

Our 1st Team had no fixture last weekend.

Fixtures: 1st Team away to St. Kieran’s or Killenaule Rovers in the 1st Round of Munster Junior Cup on Sunday October 6. Our Youths team is away to Peake Villa on Saturday October 5 in the Youth League and fixture for B Team yet to be arranged.

Gerry Smith whittled his Irish Junior Squad for the upcoming Quadrangular Trophy down to 20 players. Congratulations to our very own James Walsh, Paul Breen, and Chris Higgins and good luck from everyone at Saints for the Quadrangular Trophy. Well done to you all and let’s get us to Limerick next weekend to support our St. Michaels players. All support for them would be much appreciated.  The tournament will see the four junior international teams of Scotland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland compete for the trophy. All the fixtures will be played in Limerick at the grounds of Pike Rovers, Janesboro, Fairview Rangers and Limerick’s Jackman Park. Irelands’ fixtures are outlined as follows - Thursday Oct 3rd:

Republic of Ireland v Scotland, 3.00, Pike Club,  Friday Oct 4th: Republic of Ireland v Isle of Man, 1.30, Janesboro, Saturday Oct 5th: Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland, Fairgreen, 3.00

We had a bad week in the FAI cup . Our under 12s were beaten 6-0 by Southend. The under 14s went down 3-2 to Waterford opposition too in Ferrybank, our goal scorers were William Barry and Cian Bargary. The under 16s were also beaten 3-2 by Piltown of Kilkenny. Ger Browne and Alan O’Dwyer scoring the goals for Saints.Fixtures: Saturday, October 5. Under 15s SFAI cup home v Courtown Hibs Wexford ko 12.45.
