Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the following on their recent bereavements, Joan Hally and family, Middlequater, on the death of her father Richie Boyle, Monroe, Ardfinnan, Martina Coleman, Newcastle, on the death of her uncle Patsy O’Dwyer, Ardfinnan, Timmy Cleere and family, Middlequater, on the death of his brother Denis who died in England and also to the family of Andrew Healy, Tullaghmelan, who died last week.

Childrens’ Clothes

A lot of childrens’ good clothes and shoes are left in the community hall from time to time, and we would ask parents if they are missing any of the above to come to hall on Thursday nights to collect, or if they are not needed could be given to the charity shops.

Committee: the next meeting will take place Wednesday, October 2, at 8pm.

Ladies Football: Commiserations to Shauna Ryan and Katie Lyne and the Tipperary Intermediate Football team who were defeated by Cavan in the All-Ireland Intermediate final in Croke Park on Sunday.

South Junior A Football Semi-final: The junior A footballers qualified for the South final by beating St Patrick’s in Ned Hall Park on Saturday last, 1-10 to 0-9.

Sympathy: The club offers sympathy to Joan Hally, Middlequarter and the Boyle family, Ardfinnan on the recent death of Richie Boyle. Richie served as umpire on many occasion at Newcastle matches and officiated at the South Intermediate football final in Newcastle on Sunday, September 22.
