The Tipperary club has been a hive of activity over the past few months with the successful running of two snooker tournaments: The Buckley Cup and the newly formed Tipperary Club Cup.
The final was contested by Tim Carey and upcoming player Sean Spillane. In a close and tightly fought match it was Tim who managed to string together some great breaks and emerge victorious and win the Buckley Cup for the first time in the cups 50 year history. The newly created Tipperary Club cup resulted in a pulsating final between John Brogan and Paddy Dalton. John needed to call on all his years of snooker knowledge to eventually edge out Paddy.
A delighted John raised the cup and in doing so edged his name in the history books by becoming the first name on the Tipperary Club Cup.
