The parish pilgrimage and holiday will take place this year from 19 to 26 September. Three days will be spent in Fatima followed by four days in a four star hotel on the beautiful Lisbon coast. PETER’S PENCE COLLECTION

The annual collection for the needs of the diocese will be taken up next weekend, after communion in Powerstown and at the church gate in Lisronagh.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

A national day of prayer to prepare for the Eucharistic congress will take place in Knock next Saturday.

Bus leaves Clonmel at 7.00am and return at 10.30pm. Cost €E40.

On Sunday next a special mass for all the diocese will take place in the Cathedral in Waterford at 12 Noon. All are welcome.

The Hall Committee and Card organisers Frank Burke & Mick O’Dwyer wish to extend their deepest sympathy to Catherine Flannery on the death of her husband Jimmy and also to his Brother David. As a mark of respect the weekly Card game for June 2 was called off.
