On this Sunday, April 1, there will be a walk through Tooreen Woods beginning at the Lady Gregory at 2.30 p.m. Then there will be a walk around the block, beginning at the McGrath Centre on Easter Monday afternoon at 12.30 p.m. We would appreciate as much support as possible for this very worthy cause.
On Sunday last our senior footballers were defeated by Clonmel Commercials in the County League in Bansha. We trailed 2 points to one at the break and found scores hard to come by in the second period, Losing out on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-4. This week our minor footballers begin their midweek campaign with a home game against Kickhams. A busy time coming for some players as our under 16 footballers also kick off their campaign this week while our under 12 footballers will have two teams in action for the coming weeks.
