MS Annual Galtee Walk

The 31st Fermoy MS (Local Branch) Annual Galteemore walk will take place on Sunday, June 17 from 12pm (Black Road Route). This is the main fundraiser for the Fermoy Branch and traditionally this has been well supported by the community down through the years. Refreshments will be provided on the day and anyone wishing to provide confectionary or sandwiches for the weary walkers or who would like sponsorship cards please contact Eleanor Duggan on (086)249 32 52 or any Committee member. The number of participants has increased year on year and we hope that this year will be no exception. It’s a fun day out for all the family from the novice walker to the more experienced.

Flower Bed

Well done to whoever created and planted up the flowerbed beneath the sign on the Cahir side of Skeheenarinky. What a great idea. The flowers certainly brighten up the approach road. Thumbs up also to the families who are keeping the grass and verges on the Castle Road in pristine order. Great community spirit!

National School Hurling

Best wishes to Skeheenarinky National School Hurling Team who will play in the Tipperary County Final in Cumann na mBunscoil in Semple Stadium on Thursday, June 7. This is a big occasion for the school and the team deserves our support!
