Sincere sympathy is extended to Peggy Kelly, Middlequater and Nora Lonergan of Ruan on the recent death of their sister Bridget Peffers (nee O’Brien) who died recently in England, Bridget was originally from Toornaraheen, Mount Mellery.

The Waterford/ Lismore diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes is on from Wednesday June 6 to Sunday June 11. To all the local parishioners, who are travelling, we wish you and other pilgrims a very pleasant and safe journey and that you will come back home spiritually refreshed.
At the request of Newcastle Muintir Na Tire Community Council, the annual open air mass will be celebrated in the old cemetery Newcastle on Wednesday evening June 27, commencing with rosary at 7.45pm, Mass at 8pm.

Concert- The Naionra and Scoil Mhuire Caislean Nua, present a joint-schools concert on Wednesday, June 20 at 7pm (sharp) in the church. All the children have been practising diligently and are excited about their upcoming performance. We look forward to seeing you there. Admission is 5 Euro per person and 8 Euro for a family.
