With the Irish soccer team only days away from the start of their European Championship campaign in Poland, and the Tipperary hurlers preparing for the next phase of the championship - the Munster Senior Semi-Final against Cork at the end of the month - a Clonmel man’s website that’s selling t-shirts and hoodies for both of these major sporting events is expecting business to be brisk in the coming weeks.

Enda Carroll from Honeyview Estate runs www.hurlingmad.com which is now in its second year and has an ever-expanding range of t-shirts.

“The majority of the t-shirts have a GAA theme and are laced with humour. These are perfect for all GAA fans or even Irish people living abroad who are proud of their Irish identity and want to display that in some way”, he says.

The company is based in Dublin, and because it has no retail overheads is able to keep its running costs low.

Enda says that they also keep profit margins to a minimum and therefore can sell premium quality t-shirts to the consumer at the lowest possible prices. They buy directly from factories using top quality brands such as Fruit of the Loom for their hoodies and Gildan (the number one selling t-shirt in America) for their t-shirts.

Enda showcased his products on the GAA show on TV3’s Ireland AM last week.

People may also avail of a 10% discount if they use the coupon code on the website (Euro 2012). This offer expires as soon as Ireland get knocked out of the European Championships.
