Congratulations to Lorraine Corcoran and Maurice Power who won €200 in the recent County Draw.

The Score Prediction is now updated following the Olympics with a tie for first spot between Paudie O’Keeffe and Ally Ryan and just four points off the leaders Keith O’Brien and Sharon Ryan are in hot pursuit. Check how you are doing on the website.
KILSHEELAN TIDY TOWNS
Kilsheelan Tidy Towns have been extra busy these last few weeks, not only is the village blooming, but they are all set for a blooming good barbecue on Sunday, August 26, in Nagle’s car park from 4pm to 7pm. Tickets €10 are on sale from any committee member and local businesses. A nature walk to work up an appetite for the barbecue takes place on the same day led by James O’Donnell. Meet in the car park at 2pm. Walk takes approximately 1 hour. All are welcome and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please buy your tickets in advance, as this helps with the food planning. A very limited number of tickets will be available on the day. Do come along and join the fun and music - a great family event to complete the season. The village has already been judged and we are now awaiting the results. No passer-by failed to notice how much effort was put into the village this year and hopefully that also includes the judges. The local judging for the best estate, best individual garden, best overall commercial premises and most improved area are still to be judged, so good luck everybody. Regardless of who takes the prizes, a big vote of thanks to each and every one who supported Tidy Towns throughout the year and let’s continue the good work.
