TIPPERARY KENYA PROJECT

Fr Michael Dillon, who is presently working in Kenya, will speak at all masses in Killenaule/ Moyglass on the weekend of August 18/19, appealing for funds to build a girls dormitory in Kenya where he works. Fr Michael has many relations in Dunguib. Special envelopes will be distributed. Please take one and return it the following weekend.

MAGORBAN CEMETERY MASS

On Friday, August 17, at 7pm it’s hoped that families will prepare the cemetery for grave yard mass, by cutting the grass and a general tidy up, for the evening’s celebration in an ancient graveyard.

SUCCESSFUL PILGRIMAGE

28 parishioners from Killenaule travelled to Knock taking part in Cashel / Emly diocesan pilgrimage on August 5. Thanks to all who helped with rosaries on coach, to our parishioners who took part in mass at the Basilica, prayers of the faithful, choir and helped with the rosary during the procession, to our coach driver Michael who was very helpful.

OLYMPICS

Congratulations to the Bourke family, Springhill, who were winners of tickets to see Katie Taylor win her gold medal at the Olympics.
