Congratulations to the Eire Og U-14’s camogie team that beat Carrick Swans 4-05 to 1-04 in the Championship last Thursday evening, August 9.

The Eire Og Intermediates beat Moycarkey Borris 0-15 to 0-06 in the Championship first round game, played out in Littleton.

RESULTS

Senior Hurlers defeated Cashel KC in the West semi-final on Bank Holiday Monday.

Well done to the Eire Og under 12 Hurlers who defeated Rosegreen in the West Final last Sunday.

FIXTURE

Under 14 Hurling: The semi-final v Clonoulty-Rossmore takes place this Thursday, August 16, in Cashel at 7pm.

INTER-COUNTY REPS

Best wishes to Tipperary Senior Hurlers (featuring Conor O’Brien) and Minor Hurlers (featuring Tom Fox and Donal O’Dwyer) in their respective All-Ireland semi-final games against Kilkenny and Galway this coming Sunday, August 19.

Commiserations to the Tipperary under 21 Hurlers (including Eire Og’s own Darragh Mooney) on their defeat to Clare in the Munster Final, last Wednesday evening.

SYMPATHY

The Eire Og club extends sympathy to the family of Christine English, Cappawhite, who died recently, and to Helen O’Brien and family, Kilpatrick, on the tragic death of her nephew.

Sympathies also to the Downey family, Jerry Jac’s on their recent bereavement.
