Congratulations to Lisa Gleeson and William Harrington who were married in Powerstown church on Saturday last. We wish the couple a long and happy life together.

Our Minor hurlers took on Skeenarinka on Friday last. Kevin O’Donnell and Shane Lutrell in defence were solid. Stephen Quirke and Dominic Walsh playing great in the forwards. When Skeenarinka got their only goal of the game to come within three point of Rovers, it was Ross Mulcahy who got the ball and drove straight through their defence, for a goal in response. Moyle Rovers 3-15 Skeenarinka 1-10.

Our Senior Footballers took on Clonmel Og in the first round of the County Championship. In the first half there was very little between the sides, with the half time score Moyle Rovers 0-7 to Clonmel Og 0-2. Declan Browne opened the second half with a goal. Then Niall Fitzgerald received a red card to drive the Rovers men on more. Final score Moyle Rovers 4-16 Clonmel Og 0-5.

The U8 Management are bringing a group of U8 boys (and parents) to Croke Park on Sunday to Tipp v Kilkenny match.
