VEE ROVERS F.C.

Under 13 - Pride of place this week goes to the under 13 team who secured a home victory in the National Cup against Southend Ballyhale (Kilkenny). Goals from Jack O’Shea and Shane Crosse ensured our name goes into the hat for the third round.

U8 and 9 - Both these teams were at Peake Villa on Sunday. The Juniors were away to Donohill in the first round of the Tipperary Cup. Early goals from Chriss Platt and Jimmi Haddu gave us a two goal cushion but the home side pulled one back before the break. In the end we earned a hard fought victory on a very tight pitch and look forward to the next round.

Sympathies - The club extends its condolences to the Keenan and O’Brien families on the sad passing of Chrissie. May she rest in peace.
