Parishes Social promises to be very entertaining evening

The Clonmel Area Parishes Social, a very entertaining social evening takes place on this Friday, October 26th at Hotel Minella at 7.30pm. The Clonmel grouping of parishes covers all the parishes across Clonmel including Ss Peter and Paul’s, St Mary’s Irishtown, St Oliver’s, Powerstown/Lisronagh and Kilsheelan/Kilcash, as well as the Friary.

The Clonmel grouping of parishes covers all the parishes across Clonmel including Ss Peter and Paul’s, St Mary’s Irishtown, St Oliver’s, Powerstown/Lisronagh and Kilsheelan/Kilcash, as well as the Friary.

It’s a recession-busting evening with tickets on sale for €25 each. The evening will consist of dinner, cabaret and dancing. The cabaret features Derek Ryan (baritone) and Deirdre Ryan (soprano) with accompanist Mary Rose McNally. This will be followed by dancing to the music provided by Jeb.

A free bus, provided by O’Donoghues, is also available to bring people to and from the hotel. The bus will pick up as follows: 7pm Church of the Resurrection, 7.05pm Bates Shop, 7.10pm Ss Peter and Paul’s, 7.15pm St Mary’s Church and 7.20pm at the bus stop, Old Bridge.

Tickets are on sale at Ss Peter and Paul’s Parish Office, the Church of the Resurrection, the Friary Office and Marian’s, and from representatives in other parishes. If you’d like to donate a raffle prize for the social evening you can drop it in to your Parish Office.
