School Coffee Morning
A coffee morning in aid of the building fund for St John the Baptist girls’ primary school, in Cashel, will take place on Tuesday March 19, in the Dun Henry restaurant, Parish Centre, Friar Street. It will commence at 10am and will include a raffle.

ST PATRICK’S DAY “CEOL AGUS CRAIC” IN LIBRARY
Come and join us this Friday afternoon for some St Patrick’s Day festivities at Cashel Library. We will have a number of events taking place throughout the afternoon to keep everyone busy! Face-painting, story-telling, crafts, Irish music and dance so bring your singing voices along for our sing-a-long!
Refreshments will be served with a green twist for all things Irish! For information call 06263856.
Events will begin from 3pm and this is a free event.
Cashel Daffodil Day Committee would like to thank most sincerely Margaret and Ned O’Toole, of Dualla Road, who hosted a very successful coffee morning and Cake Sale last Saturday. A big thank you to all who supported the event.
We would appreciate donations of fresh daffodils for Daffodil Day which takes place on Friday March 22nd. They can be brought to St. Vincent de Paul House in John St. on Thursday March 21st from 2pm onwards. We invite as many volunteers as possible to come on the same day to wrap them .Thank you all so much for your generous support.
Cashel Active Retirement will hold their monthly meeting at Spafield Family Resource Centre on Friday, March 22, at 2.30pm.
LARKSPUR PARK TENNIS
Larkspur Park Tennis Club will hold their AGM in the nissen hut on Tuesday, March 19, at 8pm. Any ideas, suggestions or questions will be most welcome on the night.
The building works are going well and it is hoped to have all works completed by the end of March.
HALLA NA FEILE NEWS
Social Tea Dance in Halla na Feile this Friday, March 15, with dancing from 9pm to 12 midnight. Music is by the great Sam O’Doherty.
Teas and sandwiches will be served and admission is €8 - a great way to start St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Looking forward to seeing you and we promise you a great night’s dancing.
Social Dancing Classes continue to be very enjoyable on Tuesday evenings at Hallan na Feile, with dancing from 8.30pm to 10.45 pm. An extra half hour is added on at the end of the night for those who like ‘Ballroom’ and all for €5.

The Chamber will hold its 2013 AGM at 6pm in Mikey Ryan’s next Wednesday, March 13. All past, present and future members are invited to attend. Items on the agenda will include the current state of the Indaville objection, a report on the Christmas lights and a look ahead to some exciting events for the town during the summer months. SCOIL AONGHUSA CHARITY FUN RIDE
The Premier Harriers are organising a charity fun ride in Monday, March 18, at 12 noon in Dundrum, with all proceeds to Scoil Aonghusa. There will be two courses, one with jumps for the more adventurous rider. Start in Dundrum village and head towards Goolds Cross and Ballagh ending up back inthe Venue. The charge for the ride is €40 for adults and €20 for children. There will be an auction held in the Venue afterwards.
