TIDY TOWNS

Tidy Towns held a Scrap Metal Collection on Saturday, May 18. All kinds of stuff was taken away - Fridges, Cookers, Washing Machines, Cars, Bicycles, Gates, Ladders, Swings, Batteries, Engines, Tanks, Boilers, Radiators, Wheelbarrows, Pumps, etc.

Tidy Towns would like to thank everyone who helped to make this venture the resounding success that it was, and also to remind all “Businesses, Organisations, Schools, Homes” that judging will commence from May 31. Don’t the murals on the garage and the GAA Centre look good – well done Edel.

Last Saturday our u14 girls reached a county semi final and even though they were narrowly defeated by Clonoulty, there is no doubt that this experience will stand to them in the future.
