GALTEE ROVERS ST. PECAUN’S
Senior footballers got their County championship campaign back on track last week with a six point win over Éire Óg 2-7 to 0-7. Next match against Clonmel Óg. Cahir will be our final opposition. Hard luck to our u16 team who were defeated by Arravale Rovers in the West final. Many of this team have a bright future with several involved in the minor or u14 squads. After a lapse of several years we fielded a junior B hurling team last week in Round 1 of the championship. Our team gave a good account of themselves before going down to Éire Óg. Last Friday our intermediate hurlers were defeated by Gortnahoe in the County Championship. In this competition we are yet to play Rockwell Rovers, Cahir and Newport.
