St Marys National School Celebrates:
St Marys National School will celebrate 30th anniversary of Clogheen school. A summer dance in Kilcoran Lodge Hotel will take place on 11th June. A hot buffet and dancing till late, plus a free glass of summer punch on arrival, all for just €20. Come and join the fun and help celebrate 30 years of St Marys. The Daly family would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who supported the bike run on Sunday 1st May in support of their son Philip Jr. Personally, Philip and Carmel Daly would also like to thank relatives and close friends on both sides of our families for all the help and hard work they gave. The Sgt Tommy Halligan Branch of ONE will hold its first remembrance mass at St Marys Church, Clogheen at 11 am on Sunday 22nd May. This will be preceded by a parade of branches from the Southern Area O.N.E. The colour party and marching body will form up at St Pauls Community Centre and preceed to St Marys Church via main st at 10.4am. All are welcome.

Big Spin Around Ireland 1000kms;
The above charity run will take place on 4,5 and 6th June in aid of Crumlin Childrens Hospital Bone Marrow Unit.The motorcycle run will leave Morrissons Bar Ballysimon Limerick on Saturday 4th June and tour the west coast. They will arrive in Clogheen on Sunday 5th June at 5pm approx, staying overnight. On their arrival in Clogheen, there will be a karoke music and food in Brendans Lounge on that evening. On Monday morning they will leave for Cork City. Anyone interested please contact Davy. The cost for each entrant is €100 sponsered.

This will take place along with the Tipperary V Kerry Munster Senior Football Championship game in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney on this Sunday, May 22nd.
