Junior Hurling

Our second team travelled to Anacarty on Saturday evening last where we played Cashel in our fourth group game. A win was a must on the night but circumstances proved different. Cashel had many of their forwards to thank as they clocked up a score of 2-20 to our 1-10. Any team would find it difficult to match a score of 2-19 and commiserations to our team and management who fought hard throughout but were unable to cope with Cashel’s firepower.

Minor Hurling

Congratulations to our Minor Hurlers who are a combination with Emly on finishing top of their group after defeating Eire Og Annacarthy on Wednesday last. They won on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-11.All teams in the group now have five games played so semi finals are scheduled with top team meeting fourth placed team.In this case we now meet Eire Og Annacarthy once again in the semi final with Cappawhite playing Arravale Rovers in the other.
