TEA DANCE FOR CRUMLIN
There will be a tea dance for Crumlin Children’s Hospital on August 12 in Ozanam House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cecila as usual will have her home cooked scones to eat and for sale on the day, on the same day tea will go ahead all day at Centra for the same purpose.
The annual mass will be celebrated in Doon graveyard this Friday, July 29, at 7.30 p.m.

Cappawhite Community Resource Centre was full to capacity last Thursday night for a wonderful night of music. It was like being at six concerts at once, with wonderful performances from all the artists: Morrissey and Daniels, John Hogan, The Willoughby brothers, Louise Morrissey, Shaun O’Dowd, Philomena Begley and Crystal Swing. Cappawhite Community Council would like to thank promoter Norman Morrissey and his team for nominating Cappawhite Day Care Centre for the Elderly as their beneficiary for the night. Also many thanks to all the volunteers who helped in the preparations and the running of the night’s events. As usual there were many spot prizes for the raffle and other donations for the night and many thanks to all the sponsors and people who donated.
