Under 10 player of the week: Michael Reidy Under 12: Well done to the under 12 football team who travelled to Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney, last Wednesday to take part in an inter-county football blitz. This was a great experience for all involved to play in such a wonderful pitch against teams from all over Munster. Out of the three games they played Ballylooby/Castlegrace came away as winners in two of the games. Well done to all involved
Juvenile GAA Card Results next week. Cards continue every Monday night at 8.30 in Ballylooby community Hall followed by light refreshments.

CLIMBING CROAGH PATRICK
The Keating family Tubrid - Liam, Brendan, Mairead (Kiely) and Catherina (Slattery) are climbing Croagh Patrick on Sunday next, July 31, all in aid of Cancer Research. Donations may be given to any of the above family members for this very worthy cause.
Sight-Savers would like to thank very sincerely all those kind people who helped to raise €720 for their recent Afternoon Tea Fundraising event. A special thank you, to all who helped on the ground and kept the event moving smoothly.
Pat would like to thank the indoor and outdoor staff of Clonmel P.O, Clogheen and Burncourt, The Village Inn, Ballylooby Ladies who prepared the food the GAA and the Music – No Strings Attached also, for the gifts and cards he received and a wonderful night was enjoyed by all and we wish Pat, Margaret and the family many happy and healthy years in his retirement.
COFFEE MORNING AND GOLF COMPETITION
A coffee morning will take place in Cahir Golf Club on Thursday, July 28, from 9am to 12noon all in aid of South Tipperary Hospice. Congratulations to Marie Reidy, Tincurry who is the current Lady Captain and Marie has had a very busy year to date. As part of the fundraising effort for the Hospice, A 3 Ball Open Ladies Golf Competition is organised for that day and will be sponsored by Noel Flanagan of Cahir Carpets. For those who don’t play golf please, go along and bring a friend and support this very worthy cause.
As you know, The Village Inn has re-opened under new management. The new INN keepers are the very popular Martina and Seamus Tobin. They are inviting all friends and neighbours from near and far to celebrate the Official Opening on Saturday, July 30. The music of Johnny B & the Boogie Men will entertain you on the night and a finger food supper will be provided.
The death occurred of Mrs. Maureen Gleeson, Peahill, Ballylooby on July 20. We extend our sympathy to her husband Con, son Eamon, daughters Maureen and Eleanor, daughter-in-law, sons in law, grandchildren, brother’s, extended family and relatives. Interment took place in Ballylooby on Saturday after requiem mass.
