Carrick Davins U-16s lost the South hurling final to Kilsheelan by two points last week.

This team won the South and County B football titles earlier in the year.

The Club’s U-12s were also unlucky losing to a physical Fr. Sheehy’s team in the South final last weekend. The Davins led the game with 6 minutes to go but an injury to Cian Ryan changed the tide and they ended up losing by four points. The U-21 Davins/Grangemockler/Ballyneale combination team played Mullinahone and St Mary’s in two good challenge matches in the past week.

Meanwhile, the Club’s snooker contest, organised by Stephen Walsh is underway, with a new format of groups and points system.

The Club extends sympathy to the Ryans of Old Bridge, Clonmel on the death of Anthony Ryan and Fitzgeralds of Kennedy Tce., Carrick on the death of Mike.
