GOLD CHORAL AND DRAMATIC SOCIETY
The following officers were elected at the AGM - Chairman Michael Lonergan, Vice Chair Paudie Quirke, Secretary Trish Fogarty, Assistant Sec Joanne Hadden, Treasurer Valerie Corcoran, Asst Treasurer Louise Ryan, PRO - Marian Bergin. On Tuesday, February 21, at 8.30pm in Golden Hall the society are holding a meeting to plan events for the coming year. If you have any talent or want to help please come along. Open to everyone.
SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES
Sign language classes will commence Monday, February 20, for six weeks in Kilfeacle Community Centre. Cost €50 for six weeks. Class starts each night at 7.30pm. Contact 087 9925054 to book.
LOURDES PILGRIMAGE COMMITTEE
If you know of anyone in your area who should be given the chance to go to Lourdes or any 5th year student who would like to go as a youth helper then please give names to Mgt Tuohy, Arthur Landers or Alice Carroll before Sunday, February, 26. One of the aims of this committee is to establish a pay by instalment system whereby those interested in travelling can contribute on a weekly or monthly basis towards their fare. Churchgate collection will be held on March 3 or 4 in both Golden and Kilfeacle.
GOLDEN KILFEACLE GAA SOCIAL
All roads will lead to the Venue Dundrum on Saturday, March 3, for the GAA social and medal presentation. Music on the night will be provided by Eugene O’Grady. Presentation of medals to Junior football team, Minor football team and Minor hurling team. A three course meal will be served on the night. A limited number of tickets are available at O’Sullivans Spar Golden, The Bridge House or any member of the GAA Club. Meal will be served at 8pm. Your attendance on the night would be much appreciated.

QUEEN OF THE SUIR FESTIVAL
The festival is heading our way once again. The 2012 Festival dates are from Thursday, June 28, to Sunday, July 1, inclusive. A definite weekend to keep free in your diary. A huge success last year it promises to be even better this year with a lot of new events planned. Watch this space for further details.
