The next meeting of Burncourt Community Council will take place on this Friday night, May 4 at 8.30pm in Burncourt Community Hall.
A definite date for the diary- Burncourt Community Council’s Annual Festival will be held on the weekend of July, 20.
Burncourt National School Parents’ Association would like to thank all parents and children who took part in last Sunday’s Sponsored Walk in spite of the weather conditions. Card holders are asked to return their cards as soon as possible. Well done to all concerned.
Make Up Lesson
Ladies have you ever wanted to get that flawless finish or those dark smokey eyes but it just doesn’t seem to work? Well now is your chance to make use of all that make-up that you’ve bought, with a hands on workshop to learn correct techniques for applying make-up.
Class will be presented by fully qualified beauty teacher Niamh Walshe (C&G 1106 Advanced Teaching Dip) of Chic Beauty Salon Kilworth, in Burncourt Community Hall on Friday 11th May @ 7:30pm.
The evening will begin with a complimentary glass of wine while watching a make-up demonstration then you get to work and try out the techniques on yourself. You are asked to wear no make-up on arrival and bring your make-up bag containing foundation, foundation brush/sponge, eye make-up, blusher, blusher brush, lipstick/gloss and most importantly a mirror.

This event is being used to raise funds for toys for the recently formed Parents and Toddler Group in Burncourt.
Galty Mor Climb.
What is now becoming an Annual Galty Mor Climb in aid of Scoil Aonghusa, Cashel will take place on next Sunday, May 6, leaving the Black Road Car Park at 9.30am. This is the second year of the Climb and the organisers would like to thank last year’s supporters who raised the great sum of €2700 and are hoping to go onwards and even better this year. Your support for this very worthwhile event would be much appreciated.
Congratulations to Valerie and Denis English on the birth of their baby daughter, a welcome sister for Daniel and Conor. We wish the family every joy and blessing with the new arrival and wish baby Ciara a lifetime of health and happiness.
Last weekend Paul Mulcahy celebrated his 30th Birthday. Every good wish to Paul for health, happiness and success in the future.
