Three 21st - Birthday greetings to the three lucky girls who celebrated their 21st birthdays in Coughlan’s Lounge on Saturday 29th last. The girls are Mary Kelly, Cahdville, Lisa Lonergan, Doon and Emma English, Carhue, Anacarty. Years of happiness ahead girls.

Dance - The next tea-dance in the Centre will be on Saturday May 5. Music by the great Colm Aungier. Tea, cakes, sany’s, tarts and much more and all that for just €8. See you there.

Sympathy - To Doris Wallace, Seanclune on the unexpected death of her dear husband Tony who died at Millford Hospice on April 23. Sympathy also to his step-daughter and grandchildren and his extended family. Tony’s remains were interred in Lisdeen, Kilkee. Sympathy to the Butler families from Ayle, Rearcross, Bernie from Doon, Gretta from Glenbeigh, Kerry, brother Paul, Martin and Mike-Joe on the death of their aunt Eileen Kennedy, Doon who was interred in Doon on Saturday last 29th April. “On their sould Sweet Jesus have mercy”.

St Joseph’s Young Priest Society - The A.G.M. of the Cashel and Emly Diocese will be held in Ballinahinch on Wednesday 9th May. Mass will be celebrated at 8 p.m. the chief celebrant will be Archbishop Clifford. The meeting will be held in the local Community Centre and all are welcome.

Coffee Day - There will be a coffee day for the Alzheimers Society of Ireland at the Cryan Home, Upper Main Street on Saturday 5th May, from 10a.m. to 2p.m. All proceeds to to the local Tipperary branch of the society.

Cookery Classes - In the Youth Reach Centre, Cappawhite (formerly the Vocational School) for five weeks, beginning on Thursday 3rd May, from 7.30 to 9.30. The cost is €50, if you would like any more information contact Ann @ 086/0615220
