Carrick Davin Club wishes the best of luck to all its players, who attended the minor football and hurling trials last weekend.
The Club also thanks who transported the players.
The South Tipperary Development squad also got back hurling last weekend.
Well done to Raymond Cooke, Josh Moroney and Liam Butler for braving the poor weather conditions.
Hurling wall drills will continue this Wednesday from from 7pm to 8pm.
Training for U-6s and U-8s take place every Thursday evening in the clubhouse hall.
U-6s will train from 6pm to 7pm and U-8s will train from 7pm to 8pm.
The Davin Club agm will take place next Monday, December 3 at 7.30pm.
It is vital to the running of the club that all members and people considering joining the club attend this convention.
Anyone wishing to join the club to avail of the games room can do so now.
Membership fees paid now will cover new members until the end of 2013.
Membership costs just €20 and can be paid weekly.
The Club’s children’s Christmas party will take place on Sunday, December 16. There will be a visit from Santa and a disco afterwards. All the Club’s young players are invited to attend.
The Club’s Christmas doubles snooker handicap competition got underway this week with Ned Power and Gerry Houlihan (26) beating Maurice Organ and Shane Waters(5) over 3 frames.
Numbers drawn in last week’s Davin Club lotto draw were 7,16, 25 and 26.
The jackpot prize wasn’t won and six people matched three numbers to win €35 each. The jackpot prize in this week’s draw on Tuesday night was €11,750. Results will be published in next week’s issue.

The Davin Club extends its sympathies to the Briody family, Carrickbeg on the death of Tom and to the Power family, St Molleran’s and London on the death of Terry. May they rest in peace.
