Deepest sympathies are extended to Bridie Keating, Cooldevane on the death of her sister Margaret O’Toole, Galway recently. May she rest in peace.

Duhill Dramatic Society;

Duhill Dramatic Society will hold their AGM on Thur 21st Feb at 8.30 sharp in Duhill Hall. Everyone welcome.

Dog Fouling:

The lovely new footpaths recently put down in Clogheen have been admired by everyone, a big thank you to the County Council and all who helped in anyway to get this job done, unfortunately people are allowing their dogs to foul these paths and making it very inconvenient for people out walking.

Chinese Night in Nedeens;

Celebrate St Valentines Night on Saturday 16th Feburary in Nedeens Bar. 2 course meal + Music for €10 per head. Get your names in early, as places are limited. A great night guaranteed.

Vee Rovers F.C.

All Vee Rovers activities this week-end were concentrated at school boy level. The under-10s were away to Clonmel Celtic on Sunday morning, on the astro-turf pitch. The stronger Clonmel side dominated from start to finish despitethe valiant efforts of our younger side.

The under 14s were at home to Clonmel Town B on Saturday in what turned out to be a cracker of a game the home side forged a half-time lead of 2-1, with a back-post conversion by David Murphy and a screamer from Kevin O’Mahoney. On a day when lady luck was not on our side, with a goal disallowed and a penalty denied, we eventually fell to a 3-2 defeat, which was a very bitter pill to swallow for players and management alike.

Condolences; the club would like to express their sympathies to the Keating family, Cooldevane and the Conran families of Clonmel and Clogheen and their recent losses, May they rest in peace.
