Hanrahan’s Table Quiz
On Friday night a table quiz was held in Hanrahan’s Bar, Ballinamult, in aid of the Dungarvan Lions Club Christmas Hamper Appeal.
This year we had a last minute substitute quiz master as our regular quizzer Pat was unavailable, and what a sub Ger proved to be! A total of 11 teams turned up and a fantastic night was had by all. Not only did we have questions on the night but we were also entertained by some wonderful singers.
The winners of the quiz were the Farmer’s Team consisting of Pat Kiely, Tom McCarthy, David Connors and Kieran Hanrahan. A raffle was held with numerous spot prizes and the hamper was won by John Boyle. I’m sure Mary Ellen enjoyed the basket!.
The proceeds of the night, a total of 420 Euros, was handed over to the Lions Club. We hope to have another quiz for the Club next year.
