Results from our Lotto draw on Tuesday January 29th held in the Cashel Palace. The numbers drawn were 4,16,26 & 27. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €9,500. The second chance draw took place and the numbers drawn were 10,13,14 & 27, and there was no winner of the €500.00 jackpot. The following won lucky dips on the night € 50 Grace Flanagan, €50 Fionnula Donovan, €20 Breda Cooper, €20 J P Peters, €20 Sarah Spearman, €20 Billy Feore, €20 Walter O’Carroll. Results from draw held in Mickey Ryan’s Bar on Tuesday February 05th will appear in next week’s notes. Our next lotto draw will take place on Tuesday February 12th in Feehan’s Bar. Come along and join us from 9.30 onwards.

Halla na Feile

Social Tea Dance in Halla na Feile, this Friday, 8th February, with dancing from 9 pm to 12 midnight. Music is by the ever popular Catherine & the Images. Teas and Sandwiches will be served and admission is 8 euro.

Social Dancing classes continue on Tuesday evenings with dancing from 8.30 to 10.45 pm. An extra half hour is added on for those who like ‘Ballroom’ and all for 5 euro - An enjoyable way to improve 
your fitness.

Larkspur Park Tennis

The club’s recent Table Quiz proved to be a great social occasion which was also very well supported. The winning team of four were the Super Shans TJ, Gina, Emma and Jerry Shanahan. The runners up were Gearóid and Ger McDermott Kirsty and Conor Ryan. The scoring was very close with just the minimum separating the finalists. Because of building works in Larkspur Park all the facilities there will be closed down from Sunday night, February 10th until Saturday morning, 
February 16th.

There will be no entry into the park for pedestrians or cars during that period. The committee regret the inconvenience to members that this will cause but wish to state it is completely necessary and absolutely required for the speedy completion of the work.

Cashel Toastmasters

The next meeting of Cashel Toastmasters takes place this Thursday February 7th in Glessons Bar (upstairs) at 8pm. Looking forward to seeing

Whist Drive

Cashel Tidy Towns are holding a fundraising Whist Drive in St John the Baptist School Hall on this Thursday February 7th at 7.30 pm. All card players very welcome, lots of raffle prizes and a nice tea.

St Patrick’s day Parade

A planning meeting will take place this Thursday at 8pm in Mikey Ryans for this year’s St. Patrick’s Parade. All members and any new recruits are more than welcome to come along.

Past entrants will be contacted soon and it is hoped that we will once again have a full entry for the Parade, which is a great highlight of the year in Cashel. Entry forms will be available next week in the Cashel Heritage Centre in the Old Town Hall on the Plaza, or you can order one from Sean on 06262685.

Dundrum House Hospice Fundraiser

St Patrick’s Night Concert in aid of South Tipperary Hospice Movement on Sunday night March 17th 2013 from 8pm to 10.30 pm. Come along and enjoy a Traditional Night of Irish Music, Song and Dance featuring World and All-Ireland winning performers from the Janet Coyle School of Irish Dancing, Donegal. Tickets cost €15. Also any unwanted Christmas Presents /Gifts would be gratefully accepted as raffle prizes on the night.
