It was a great week for the Swan GAA Club with the U-14 hurlers winning the South A title while five members played for Tipperary in All-Ireland finals.

And the Club’s U-10s won the Mullinahone Festival of Hurling Tournament final by a point.

The U-14 team defeated St Mary’s after extra time in the South Final last Thursday.

Congratulations also to Danny O’Hanlon and Kevin Lanigan, who were on the All-Ireland winning Tipperary Intermediate hurling team. Dean Walsh, Jack Cooke and Tommy McGrath were on the Tipperary ‘A’ & ‘B’ sides that lost their All-Ireland finals while Aaron Dunne represented Tipperary U-15s last Saturday. Swan Senior hurlers play Borris-Ileigh next Saturday at 2.30pm in Holycross while the Junior hurlers defeated Thurles Sarsfields in the County Junior Hurling League semi-final on Sunday last.
