Monard - Eight bus services to stop daily in the village

Fine Gael TD and Junior Minister in the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Tom Hayes has confirmed that Bus Eireann are to introduce eight services a day that will stop in Monard going each way on the national Waterford to Limerick route.

Bus Eireann have confirmed that a bus pole erected with the new timetable information displayed on it in the coming weeks.

“I am glad that Bus Eireann has made this decision as it is something that the people of Monard have been pushing for quite some time. This will provide a real service to residents in Monard and the surrounding areas and will also have knock on effects in Tipperary Town as this service will allow people easy access to the town from Monard. It is expected that the new service will be on stream in weeks.”
